Start, Stop or Transfer Service
We're here to make your water service changes as easy as possible.
1. Start New Service
Welcome! We look forward to serving you. To establish new water service, please call 706-628-5217, between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday to speak with a water system representative.
Important information about establishing new service with PMV Water Association:

Please allow up to 72 hours for connection

A deposit of $50.00 is required.

Please note that the customer must be present at the property for service to be turned on.

To protect the interior of your home or business from water damage, please check to make sure that all indoor faucets, including the connection to the washing machine, and the connection to the ice maker for your refrigerator, are turned off before service is connected. Any water damage to your property as a result of the water service being turned on at the meter is the responsibility of the property owner.
The following documents are required, along with the appropriate deposit/fee, when applying for new service:

Picture identification

For property owners, proof of ownership

For a renter/lessee, proof of rental/lease agreement

Last 4 digits of Social Security numbers for everyone whose name appears on proof of ownership or rental/lease agreement
2. Stop Service - Moving outside our service area?
To stop your water service, please call PMV Water Association office at 706-628-5217 between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We request at least one business day (24 hours) prior to your move to have service discontinued. In addition, please provide a forwarding address for a final water bill to be delivered.
3. Transfer Service - Moving and you need to transfer your service?
To transfer your water service, please call PMV Water Association office at 706-628-5217 between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We request at least two business days (48 hours) prior to your move to arrange for a final water meter reading at your current address. Please remember to make arrangements for connection of the new water service at your new address one working day prior to the day you need water service.
